I live in NYC and I have a series of digital images at 300dpi and I would like to get high quality professional prints to present in a gallery show, but I have no experience with photo printing. Any ideas for printing services or presentation recommendations?

I currently have an HP deskjet 1220c, however, it does not feed perforated paper at all and keeps getting jammed! Right now I am just looking for a color printer that will print on business card and card papers from Avery. I read through a lot of reviews but non seem to target this specific paper feed issue. I don’t want to spend too much money for it .. looking for anything that is less then 0 with good color quality for heavy weight papers. Thanks!

I own a Canon PIXMA iP1700. I’m on a budget and can’t buy a commercial printer. I prefer to print my products myself verses paying a printing company.

I will be printing business stationary products.

Do you think my printer will have a nice quality?

If you’ve used this printer, how would you rate it’s performance.

I’ve been searching the web for a website program to host my photographs on a personal photo website. I’m looking for gallery pages, an about me page, a ‘services offered’ page, a price page for my prints that are for sale, and a shopping cart link, and also some place where I can add continuing information about photography in general (like a blog). I’ve seen pixelpost, otherpeople’s pixels, etc., to tell the truth, I’ve forgotten how many! Any recommendations for a company that isn’t too expensive. I’ve seen some that charge a 0 setup fee & 0 a year sort of deal?

I’m in the market for a commercial paper cutter, large format and was wondering if there are any printers out there that can recommend some brands and models. We will primarily be doing business cards and brochures.

I have a bunch of digital photos taken in black and white. They’re fine when I print them out in 4×6 (using Shutterfly), but when I had them printed out in 5×7 at Target in glossy mode, they all turned greenish. How do I fix this?

I am looking for a laser printer that is pretty fast, and can print black & white, color documents and photos all on one printer. I am running an HP dv2000t series laptop with Windows Vista (already pre installed). I also would like to to have a printer that I can print to wirelessly.

This is asked out of total curiosity. How long would it take a publishing company to publish ONE copy of a book. I’m not too specific about page amounts or anything, so just choose a page number and tell me how long. I’m mostly curious about page numbers 300-500, but give me any number you wish as long as you’re pretty confident with the time you give with it. Thanks!!
