advertising in US for printing service?
Dear all,
I would like to establish a company to help companies in US to print postcards, newsletters, posters, brochures, books, etc. My target customers are small and medium companies. I want to know how can I do the advertisment for such service. Web keyword search in google or yahoo? Newspapers? Magazine? Direct mail? Yellow page?
Besides, if you are the decision maker for choosing this service provider, would you please tell me which ways you will try to find and what criteria you will consider. Thank you so much.
is it a good idea to sell your art to a poster company to collect royalty?
I have this opportunity to give my rights to my art to a poster print company, but collect a 2% royalty per sale. These posters go everywhere in the world, but it would take a lot of paintings and a lot of sales to make a good living.
The upside is that I could choose to be a resident artist and work with them on my new art and keep producing new pieces for their interest. Also my work will be seen in every store and then I can sell my originals at a much higher price.
The downside is unless you are a trend setter, you have to go with what the trend is (which is the practical side of art anyway). Also, you can not sell Giclee of your art.
Why does my slip receipt print option not work?
I take payments thru a company. To print the receipt, at the end of the transaction, I can choose to print 8.5 x11 receipt (full page) or I can choose to print slip receipt (very small & simple) and this is what I need in order to be fast and timely for my customers. I have asked the company, in which they faxed me directions on how to make changes to my printouts from Internet Explorer, but this is still not working.
When I click on the Print Slip Receipt option, the lil window tries to pop up, but never completes, and then goes away. The top of that lil box has the word Webpage Dialog on it.
Should I make a certain change to allow Webpage Dialog’s to open?
I am sooooo computer illiterate, and have no clue, and I am a lil scared of just trying this and that!
Fellow Americans, what do you think???
Fellow Americans, is it a concern for you that in 1983, there were more than 50 companies that owned media like television, print magazines/newspapers, but now there are only 8 multi-billion dollar conglomerates that own nearly ALL media sources in America?
Do you believe that you get fair, unbalanced news if these 8 companies own nearly all the news stations, online news sites, magazines and publications and other mass-media?
* Disney (market value: .8 billion)
* AOL-Time Warner (market value: .7 billion)
* Viacom (market value: .9 billion)
* General Electric (owner of NBC, market value: 0.6 billion)
* News Corporation (market value: .7 billion)
* Yahoo! (market value: .1 billion)
* Microsoft (market value: 6.8 billion)
* Google (market value: 4.6 billion)
What do you do to make sure that you remain fully informed, rather than know only what these 8 dominating and self-serving companies CHOOSE to air and broadcast?
For instance, have you heard about the fact that America is pressuring Poland into building an American missile defense site, and that the Czech Republic has already pretty much agreed to build a similar site in their country?
That America is slowly arming itself along the Russian border?
That America is promising HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars to these two countries just so that they can further participate in an arms race?
How many watched American Idol and can name who got voted off of Idol last night but cannot cite how many tax dollars are being spent to bribe these countries?
TrueType or Postscript for printing??
For a brochure that will be sent to a prepress company for high resolution printing, would it be better to choose a TrueType or PostScript font?
inequalities problem!? can u plz tell me how u got ur answer?
u own a printing shop & order paper each week to meet ur customers’ printing needs. Company A charges .50 for a ream of 500 sheets of paper plus a delivery fee for each order. Company B charges only for a ream but charges a delivery fee for each other
1) let x represent the number of reams of paper u purchase. write an expression that represents the total cost of purchasing paper from Company A. write an expression that represents the total cost of purchasing paper from Company B
2) choose 2 different amounts of paper between 50 reams and 150 reams that u cud purchase. calculate the charges from each supplier.
3) write an inequality that represents orders for which company A offers the lower price. write an inequality that represents orders for which company B offers the lower price.
