PostHeaderIcon What's a good printer to start printing business cards with?

Does anyone here have experience with printing professional business cards, and knowledge over what a good printer would be to purchase and start with? I make designs for business cards, and was wondering what the costs would be to use my own printer instead of outsourcing.

Printing your own cards is a less expensive alternative to outsourcing if you need under 200 cards and do not mind having a lower quality ‘looking’ business card – something I would not recommend unless you need to stick to a slim budget. A card printed on even the best consumer inkjet will come across as a homemade business card to 99% of people you are handing them out to (or your design customers). Since you are selling your design work, you want your printing to make your designs look stellar, not just ‘ok’.

If you are planning on making a name for yourself, spend the added cost and get professional cards printed for your customers. Most people agree that http://www.lasvegasprintings.com are the best for fast cheap business cards that look awesome, its who the company I work for uses.

    Good luck with your business!

A color laser printer. Inkjets use water soluble ink, and when a sweaty hand turns the card into a runny mess, you’ll have an upset client.
