Is this a good computer?
Okay, I’ve posted 2 other questions about this, but this is my final one.
Im looking for a laptop for myself, a 14 year old 8th grader. I will use it greatly for school projects, pictures, editing those pictures, music and a downloadable game or two. I need a computer that runs very smoothly for the game and has a lot of storage for many programs. I will be using the laptop every day for the game (Combat Arms, a war game) and for school things and music and so on. I have to have a laptop, and the computer I’m looking at right now is called a Studio 15 by Dell. I’ve loaded it with some good things, and I’ll post those in a moment. The price is very pricey, ,194 because I’ve put on some of the best things into the laptop. I will be doing a plan though where I pay a month. Plus, its no interest until October, 2009 and im hoping I can pay off the whole thing by then, and I think I can.
So the question is, when you look at the information about the laptop that I’ve posted below, and you know the requirements I need, is this a good computer? Any comments or suggestions? Changes I should make? Thanks in advance! ;D
This is all the information on the page. I hope it helps! Sorry if it looks confusing…

Hello again! now that you have all the details here i will give another analysis
Processor: The processor is very good and will last you a long time. It will be able to cope with anything you throw at it really
Video Card: Whilst it is not the best card in the world it will cope fine with the game you want to play! From reading about that game that you play any computer made in the past 5 years will run it, so i wouldnt worry about that
Ram: plenty of memory! 4Gb is the max you can get, so maybe you should drop it down to 3gb instead? 3gb is still plenty and will suit you perfectly fine on this system; 4gb is overkill considering what you will be using this pc for!
Hard Drive: If possible try and get a 7200rpm drive, it is faster, but if you cant do not worry about it. Do you really need 500gb of space? On my laptop i have thousands of songs, many games, and lots of movies, and a 200gb hard drive does me fine! I think once again you have gone overkill here, maybe drop it down to 300gb or 250gb to save money?
Hope that helps!
Oh absolutely! It looks like it has the specs that you’re looking for. I’d say it’s a perfect fit. And Sea Sky is an awesome choice, by the way.
I want Sea Sky, if I could get a Dell anytime soon.
